The job of a fresh grad is to pay off student loans,
To move in with her parents,
To look notoriously for jobs, and not to be called,
To hangout with friends, and do chores at home,
To laugh, cry, be angry, anxious, frustrated, confused and amused,
The job of a fresh grad is to answer judging questions
To withstand the testimonies of her nosy neighbours
To create creative life plans, and modify them from week to week to week
To doubt her degree, to fuel her passion for the world,
To be told how dark the real world is, to find the light anyways,
The job of a fresh grad is to relax, breath,
to become breathless at the gym,
To make cover letters and submit resumes,
The job of a fresh grad is to face failure, to practice facing failures
To be high, to be low, to read, look at the deep blue sky, craving a slice,
To create new memories, and revive the dead child inside her,
The job of a fresh grad is to be silly, beautiful, divine and to love,
To love her insecurities and strengths, to love little children and her grandparents,
To love her life, to love the world and its people
The job of an undergraduate student is to be a student for life and a lover for eternity.
Welcome to my world! Very relatable.
